It doesn't take much in our world today to discover that there are some scary and unhealthy promotions suggesting that we need to look or feel a certain way to be cool, or even sexy!
We are well informed just by listening to some lyrics of popular songs or watching the hottest shows on TV. We hear words and see images that suggest dominance of one individual over another. We hear of sexual fantasies and expectations that are often unreasonable and not based on genuine love for one another.
And then we discover that human beings are being traded for money to service people who believe that dominance, power and exploitation is their right.
Well, it isn't. Politicians, lawyers and law enforcement personnel are looking for voices to speak out against the hideous and brutal crime of trafficking for the purposes of sexual and labour exploitation. Can one of those voices be yours?
Here you will find some sources of further research on this topic.
